There's a new addition to the Ford Fusion line coming to Waterford this summer that will make you hold on to your hat! The Fusion Sport boasts increases to horsepower and torque that soar above the base model, with a 2.7-liter turbocharged V6 engine.
Power alone is one thing, as any enthusiast knows, sophisticated handling is another. That's why the Fusion Sport doesn't make you pay through the nose for corner-hugging all-wheel drive -- it's standard. That should prove a boon to Michigan drivers who don't want to stable their performance sedan in the winter.
The Fusion Sport is the answer to many people's demands for a more affordable alternative to a German-engineered sports car. "It's not just Fusion buyers who want something hotter," says Wade Jackson, Ford Fusion marketing manager. "Owners of other midsize sedans, along with our own dealers, ask repeatedly."
While Jackson says "cross-shoppers will be shocked by the bang for the buck our new Fusion Sport delivers," the powerful sedan stands on its own merit as well, offering an impressive array of high-tech features not seen elsewhere -- notably the automatic pothole-avoidance system, which might just save your rims.
