How Big is the 2019 Ford Expedition?

Ford has an impressive variety of SUVs in its 2019 lineup. The largest of these is the 2019 Expedition. This full-size SUV promises spacious seating for the whole family and impressive, flexible cargo capacity.

Wheelbase and Length: The Expedition's wheelbase alone reveals its large stature compared to other Ford SUVs. The standard Expedition rides on a 122.5-inch wheelbase, while the Expedition MAX rides on a 131.6-inch wheelbase.

Seating Capacity: The new Expedition can carry seven or eight passengers, depending in the configuration you choose. The standard layout for the Expedition offers three rows of seating with three seats in the second and third rows each. You can also opt for available second-row captain's chairs, though this option reduces seating capacity to seven.

Passenger Space: Individual passengers will have plenty of room to spread out in the new Expedition. Up front, passengers have 42 inches of head room and 43.9 inches of legroom. Even third row passengers get 37.3 inches of headroom and 36.1 inches of legroom.

Cargo Capacity: The 2019 Expedition is one of the best vehicles on the road when it comes to interior cargo capacity. The standard Expedition model offers a whopping 104.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down. The Expedition MAX has even more space. Fold down the rear seats in that body style and you'll have 121.5 cubic feet of cargo space.
